Marc Z. Edell
Marc Edell is Senior Trial Counsel to the firm and specializes in aviation and complex litigation, toxic torts, product liability, and commercial cases.
Marc has tried well over a hundred cases to jury verdict in federal and state Courts in New Jersey and other jurisdictions throughout the country, including the first successful case by a smoker against a cigarette manufacturer. (See Examples of Our Work). He was recognized as Trial Lawyer of the Year by the Trial Lawyers for Public Justice for his groundbreaking work in this tobacco litigation. Marc also obtained a jury verdict against the PGA’s Senior Division for violations of the Sherman Antitrust Act in one of the few successful antitrust cases in professional sports.
Marc has a proven ability to develop unique and highly effective approaches in complicated cases that present unusually difficult factual and legal challenges. He also has an in depth understanding of the appeals process, having argued cases in many federal and state appellate courts, including the United States Supreme Court.
A graduate of New York Law School, Marc was an Adjunct Professor at Rutgers University School of Law and New York Law School for many years.
